Royal Caribbean Bridge Tours

Recommended Posts

For those who don't know Royal Caribbean offer Bridge Tours on their ships (well the Radiance at least). These tours are not even told to the majority of passengers onboard, as it is an exclusive for suite guests (Grand Suite and above) and those high in the Crown and Anchor Society (Diamond Plus and Pinnacle) basically those who get a gold card. It is done in groups of about 15. The invite is given by the concierge. The tour is given by the captain, and takes place on one side of the bridge with the majority of the area restricted, as the area is operating and they don't want guests in the way. It is done on the last sea day as to not get in the way of plans made while in port. Its an excellent experience and it is a must do if you are lucky enough to get a gold card.

What makes it even better for us was that we were upgraded from a Junior suite to the grand suite. It somehow even ended up being one of the great hump cabins (cabin 1556) so we got a excellent upgrade. It also seemed as though many of the suite guest were people who had been upgraded from lower cabins as well.
