Jamaica- Caribbean Princess

My husband and I are going on the Caribbean Princess in July to the Western Caribbean. We want to go to Dunn River Falls. Is it better to go on the Princess tour or can you get on a tour on your own once you dock in Ocho Rios?

The Princess tours seem pricey, but we want to be safe. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help. :)

We went with Peat Taylor. First we went to the falls (before it got too crowded), did some sightseeing and were greatly entertained. On the way back to the ship we had the option of stopping in the town for some shopping. My mother, daughter and I were the only ones so he took the others to the ship and came back for us at a designated time. It was well worth taking this tour with him.

There have been some threads with good tours listed. I would be sure you take one of them. Otherwise stick with Princess there :)
