buying on-board credits and Pre-Pay Service Charges

Recommended Posts

In April of 2012, I went on the Norwegian Spirit out of New Orleans, Louisiana and in April 2013, I am going on the Norwegian Epic out of Miami, Florida. Both ships are own by Norwegian Cruise Line (aka NCL).

One thing I recommend is paying your Service Charge early. On the NCL's web-site, you just got to click on "Pre-Pay Service Charges".

I would also recommend that each month, you buy on-board credit. So I plan my next vacation in November and I am going on the cruise in April. So if I buy the $25 dollar onboard credit every month, I will have $125 dollars in on-board credit. That way, you are you putting a little aside for your cruise.

Also, on my last cruise, I did not use all my onboard credit. NCL sent my a check for the onboard credit I did not use.
