tigre Posted June 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2004 We're considering a Princess cruise in November out of Long Beach and would like information on economical transportation options from LAX airport to the port in Long Beach. What's the best way to get there? Also, is there parking at the port if we were to drive? If so, how much is it? Thanks!! Tigre

Happy ks Posted June 14, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2004 The most economical would be supershuttle.com, you can also do a search for LAX and you will find a link to ground transportation there. There is plenty of parking at the port, running $10-11 per day. The only type of transportation I would avoid is the ship transfers, I'm too anxious to wait around for that. mariakitty Posted June 21, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 21, 2004 Last year we grabbed a shuttle bus outside of baggage claim at LAX and it cost $30 for two, going to San Pedro. There were three other passengers and it took us 45 minutes to get there, even though we had no traffic as it was almost 11pm. We didn't have reservations for the shuttle, we just found the appropriate sign at LAX. Have a great time! jayevee44 Posted June 22, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 22, 2004 Tigre, If you’re looking at the 7-day Mexican Riviera cruise, Princess has changed the port to Los Angeles. Parking was $11 per day when we parked there in March. If you’re flying into LAX, transportation to either port would be just about the same. Jim Dawn Princess to W.
