Inside Cabins on Verandah deck

Hi Guys

I am thinking of booking an interior cabin on deck 11 on either Ecstacy or Sensation. Has anyone stayed in these cabins - V8,12,20,24,28,32,36 or 40.

We normally have a suite but as the cruises are shorter that we usually take we thought that these would be good cabins to have. Are there any issues with these cabins - as there is white space above them I am not too sure (They say white space is noisy space).

Cheers

I stayed in an interior "V" cabin on Ecstasy about 2 years ago. It was a great interior cabin, had lots of space and was close to everything. I was with my son, so the beds were arranged in an L shape, there was the desk and 1 chair. The bathroom was standard Carnival bathroom. What I liked most about the cabin was the location. I also stayed in one of the smaller suites on Verandah deck on Ecstasy, and that was nice, but it seemed smaller than the interior - but it had a sofa. I have some pictures, see the link in my signature.

yikes-- be careful of that fitness center above. Looks to be the area where they do classes. but other areas where it says fitness center will be treadmills-- and this opens real early in the morning 6am. but closes by 10pm. V8 and V12 will be under that area

Agreed. V32, 36 and 40 may be your best location.

Most people that book cabins on this deck love them! This is the only deck that we will book...it is so quiet and since there are only about 40 cabins....the hallway traffic is very low....We have never had a problem from any overhead noise.

I can't honestly tell you anything about the inside cabins as we have never had an inside, but if quiet is what you are looking for...this is the deck to be...

Curt Jerome has a thread on the forums that is all about the cabins on this deck...If I can find it, I will try to link it here.

Been in both V8 & V12 on several fantasy class ships. Great rooms. Have V40 booked for Paradise in Jan. Advised my pcp " no upgrades". One time unbeknowed to me, until we arrived at check in, they "upgraded" us to an OV on deck 4. Not an upgrade to me. Like the V rooms.

Thank you so much to those who replied to my question.

With the Message Area above the cabins I was looking at hopefully there should be no noise at night time.

Thanks for your help and the links - its much appreciated. I will certainly consider these cabins for a short cruise.

I forgot to mention that the cabin we had was very quiet. I don't remember the cabin number, but when you go in the door to the V cabins, we turned left and it was the second cabin on the right. It was extremely quiet. Also, there is a door at the end of the hallway that leads to an outside deck that nobody ever seemed to use. It was windy, but a great place to stargaze. The V cabins are the best in the Fantasy class.

So i have a casino free interior that i will be using on the Fantasy. v12 is open. I have read mixed reviews on it being under the gym. What info you guys got for me?

V12 is under the areobic areas- i think you will be fine Gym closes at 10pm and do not think the aerobics is done that early in the morning

V20 back is under the spa-- a better choice

We did V40 inside on the Sensation(New Years) loved the location and didn't hear anything. We had friends that booked next to us but took a upgrade to OV They were very sorry. We had a another set of friends that book a inside guarantee and were given the cabin next to us. I just booked a cruise on the Paradise (New Years) and all inside on V are booked so I did a guarantee First time but I will be on a cruise:)
