Need help with Marigot & Grand Case

We have been here several times. Usually Orient is the first stop followed by shopping on the Dutch side before going back to the ship. This time we were thinking of taking a taxi from Orient to one of the other towns. I think I read that Marigot had nice pastry shops or cafes. Does any one have any suggestions? Thanks.

Marigot was stupid busy when there last week. Shopping looked very French fashion. Don't quote me on fashion. Congested is a fact though.

Try Sarafina's across from the ferry terminal. A walk up the steps to the fort provides a beautiful view.

 

Grand Case is smaller and more relaxing to me.
