Cruise Ship History in pictures

I was attracted this morning by a photo in the SMH of a four funnel cruise ship in Sydney Harbour. It was the Aquitania in 1940. It is included in the Fairfax Syndication Archive, where Fairfax are offering photos from their archives for sale. The data base is searchable and you can search by generic - cruise ship etc - or by specific cruise line E.g. Cunard. Lots of other topics of interest are on offer as categories.

The prices are a bit steep.

From * 6 x 8" Unframed print: $ 30.00

to * 16 x 20", framed and delivered: $ 340.00

But you can browse the archive for interest for no charge. - well so far - who knows now they are charging for the Leunig Calendar!
