Bear watching/feeding on salmon

 Maybe this is a question for BQ. We're on the Sun Princess sailing August lst. Princess has 2 Bear Feeding Trips - one is to Neets Bay and the other is just called Alaska Bear Adventure, both are $310.00 per person. Is one better than the other and what's the difference?

Neets Bay is an excellent location for black bear viewing. You can only book this through a ship excursion since Pro Mech doesn't direct book. The other location you may want to consider is Traitor's Cove but my clear favorite is Anan. If of interest, direct book, then you can get specific information on the tours. Southeast Aviation and Island Wings as well as others run bear tours.

:D Thanks so much, Budget Queen. We booked the last 2 spots with Princess for Neets Bay. It's the 8:00AM departure and we have another tour booked with Princess after the bears. We thought it best to let the cruiseline deal with this in the event that there is a delay during our journey. BQ, you really are of great help.
