Fun Ship Dollars

You can send them in with your final payment or apply them to you S & S card when you get on board. Be sure to fill them out correctly if you send them in with your final payment because you want to be sure they get credited to your account!

I would send them in per the directions on the certificates. I have heard a couple people say they had a hard time redeeming them on board and one less trip to the purser's desk is a good thing anyways, it is sometimes busy.

I called 800-CARNIVAL about them and was told that in addition to using them to pay off the cruise they can be used for shipboard credit. If you don't spend all your credit (like that will really happen:rolleyes: ), they will give you a check for any balance left on your card.

I went to the carnival.com site to buy "funship dollars", and used my credit card to buy them online "six days before" ship sailing. I got a receipt sent to my email immediately, and another email stating that it would be applied to my onboard sign and sail account, which it was:) I printed out those two emails just in case there was a problem which there wasn't. I think thats actually the way to go, and plus if you need any cash off the card later, just go to the casino cashier and give them your id and your card and for a small fee of $3.00 per $100. they will give you the cash. And best of all, the funship dollars is treated as a "purchase" by your credit card co. So its kinda like getting a cash advance as your funship dollar purchase, without those advance fee's your credit card charges you:D So go ahead and buy those funship dollars without all the guilt
