Omega1 Posted January 9, 2013 Author #26 Share Posted January 9, 2013 Omega1--sorry I did not read down to Shogun's last post, so glad your FCC issue has been resolved. I knew Princess would come through in the clutch. Cheers! Boomerone, thank you for your comments - most of which I disagree with. My post was asking for suggestions to enable me to reach a resolution, not a lecture. However, I believe your post was well intentioned and I have certainly learned from the experience. 20/20 hindsight is a wonderful thing! Shogun's practical assistance was very helpful. Princess have issued a fulsome apology, mainly about their lack of response to emails and the amount of time it has taken to reach a resolution. All's well that ends well! Regards. caribill Posted January 9, 2013 #27 Share Posted January 9, 2013 why, as a very experienced cruiser on a 19 day cruise, did you wait until day 15 to submit your request? Why not? The Future Cruise Office is open at certain hours during the entire cruise and the drop box for FCC requests is there 24 hours a day. A FCC request dropped off on the last day should be processed correctly just as one dropped off the first day should be. On the last night why didn't you check your final bill when it was delivered to your cabin? If it was not there you could have visited the pursers office staff. They are open 24/7. Since the FCC costs are not put onto the onboard account, such a check would have been useless. see above in red
