Email survey: Celebrity Cruises Would Like Your Input Receive $10 through Paypal

Anyone receive this email? It seems a little dodgy, like they are phishing for my Paypal account info. Successes, failures?

Please feel free to take this survey at your earliest convenience. We will notify you when it is officially closed. This survey will take around 15 minutes of your time.

 

In appreciation of your time, we would like to offer you $10 via PayPal. You will receive your $10 in your PayPal account in the next 2-3 weeks.

Sounds very fishy to me. It would be a big assumption that so may people even *have* paypal accounts.

I'd take a pass if it were *me*.

Are there any links in the email that you can hover over to see where the actual link is coming from? I can't imagine why Celebrity would pay $10 for someone to answer a survey. I've done some of their surveys before and they've never offered anything.

 

I would definitely proceed with caution, if at all.

Did it before and I in fact received $10.00 on my Paypal account. It's been a long time since then and I don't remember the exact details. Not saying it's the same, just that it's been something that I have done. If in doubt, skip it.

I got a scam email from a company pretending to be Paypal. The Paypal fraud is posted all over the Internet and on their web site. On my email, which I deleted, the phoney company tried to get your social security number and birthday etc. I also don't believe Celebrity would pay $10 via Paypal to fill in a survey.

Did one a couple of years ago, after checking if it was genuine, and yes, did get $10 crditedto my Paypal account.

Yeah we watch out for spams like that , but heck we won gap money, we won, longhorn steak for a year. but if its fishy give them a call.:D

Years ago got a survey from another line...they gave you OBC for filling out the form....

 

OBC had no expiration date

While I'm not certain, I believe it's bogus.... so I highly recommend not clicking on any links in the email. Perhaps Celebrity will respond.
