amc80 Posted January 10, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2013 Sorry if this has been posted, but I just noticed an itinerary change. We are booked on the Miracle for 11/17/13 (Mexico). It originally did two days in Cabo and one in Puerto Vallarta, but now it's swapped and we are doing two days in PV and one in Cabo. Annoying. It looks like this was the only date that changed, as the other two November sailings hare still the same. I wonder why this happened? ETA- We will now only be in Cabo for 8 hours versus the 17.5 we had scheduled. Boo. From the way Carnival posted the times, it looks like we actually stay in PV overnight (The times are listed as being there from 12pm one day until 3pm the next). How will this work with the casino? I wish mine would change to that! I love PV. Cabo, not so much.

olepamb Posted January 11, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 11, 2013 The casino will be closed the whole time you are docked in PV. We just were on the cruise 12/09/12.

I believe the ship is having work done in PV that requires them to stay overnight. Bill

I knew I read a post about a ship staying 2 nights in PV for repairs but it was the Splendor this week.:o http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1760912 Bill
amc80 Posted January 11, 2013 Author #8 Share Posted January 11, 2013 Thanks for all of the responses! The good news is that now we will be able to do an all-inclusive beach day and still have another day for shopping/walking around PV. Just have to decide on which resort to use!
