Alcohol related question?

Have a quick question about bringing beer on board. Probably has been asked a number of times before but based on the selection of beer on the ship I will be definitely disappointed. I know that a number of fine English brews can be purchased in cans. With this being said, will I be able to get them onboard if they are in my luggage? First time I have cruised with Princess and will be going on the Caribbean Princess.

I would suggest that you put it in your carry on bag. We went on the Sun in April of this year and we took a portable cooler filled with pepsi, water and a bottle of whiskey as our carry on and had no problem at all.
