Looking at chateau cervantes or villa herencia for one night pre-cruise..anyone have any experience with these hotels? Would like to hear from someone who has stayed there.

I have not stayed at either. I had first booked Chateau Cervantes for one night pre-cruise, I cancelled that reservation and booked Villa Herencia. Based on reviews from the Tripadvisor site, I was nervous about the many complaints about late night noise at Cervantes and impressed with the many positive reviews on Villa Herencia.
