Park and Cruise in Ft. Lauderdale???

Looking for a reasonable hotel to stay one night, leave my auto for 7 days that offers shuttle service to the port in Fort Lauderdale.

I have used Hyatt Place in the past but there rates at $189 plus taxes.

Park and Go parking has a $7.99 special currently. Has anyone parked at the port at this lot?

I generally use whatever hotel I like the price and location of. Then I use Park N Fly for my car. The one time I used a hotel-stay-while-I cruise-and left my car, I came back to

some damage on my car. The advantages of Park N Fly are that I lock my car, the lot has security and they take you directly to your ship and pick you up at the end. Plus I am not paying, one way or another, for a hotel shuttle and wait for it when I return.
