Lastdrinks Posted January 16, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2013 Hi where is the nearest ATM to the cruise terminal in Noumea? Thanks Janine :)
Oz_Steve Posted January 16, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2013 It is about 300 metres from the terminal. Walk towards the square a couple of blocks up. From memory it is Societe Generale, look on their website. There is also a very helpful help desk inside the visitor centre.
traveller4fun Posted January 16, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 16, 2013 There is also one outside the Casino supermarket which is opposite the terminal. (The Casino is the name of the supermarket)
Lastdrinks Posted January 17, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted January 17, 2013 Thanks for that. The one at Casino is probably then the closest for me. I had heard there was one at the Post Office inside the cruise terminal as well, but as of yet I cant confirm it. :)

The casino Supermarket ATM is 80 metres from front of Terminal and is closest. That is of course if you do tie up at main terminal and not one of the alternates further away - even if you are elsewhere, the free shuttles drop you at main terminal and the ATM. robynwally Posted January 18, 2013 #6 Share Posted January 18, 2013 Don't forget nearly everywhere accepts AUD....we did not exchange or withdraw any cash in Noumea. We paid for Le Petite Train in $$....even Casino's (supermarket) take AUD...prices shown in both Pacific Francs and AUD, but you will receive your change in Pacific Francs. Bought 3 postcards from a lady at the terminal for $4.50 AUD, she rummaged around in her change box and gave a 50 franc coin back. I still laugh about it.
