We are thinking of doing Liberty early next year for a quick 4 day to Cozumel. We have done Oasis in past. Will Liberty disappoint us? It looks like a fun inexpensive get-away and the ship looks like it had some nice Oasis-like upgrades in recent years. Thanks.

We are huge Oasis and Allure fans, but we have done Liberty several times last year and again next week. Because of the nature of Hubby's work, we just can't get away for an entire week. So we end up on Liberty's four nighter to Cozumel time and again.

 

We have grown very fond of the ship. No, there is no Aqua Theater, double FlowRider (just a single FlowRider) or zipline, but still Liberty has plenty to keep you busy on a four night cruise.

 

We really enjoy the show Saturday Night Fever and think the ice show is one of the best on any Royal ship we have sailed. The Portofino restaurant is especially good on Liberty.

 

No question that it is hard to "settle" for lesser ships than Oasis or Allure, but I think Liberty comes a very close second to the megaships and usually at a better price too.

We really liked the Liberty of the Seas and think you should enjoy a cruise on this wonderful ship. We were on the New Years Eve cruise and had a ball.

Thank you everyone! You confirmed my suspicions, so last night we booked the 4 night to Cozumel for next January. We looked at the 4 day compass for Liberty and it looked like an action packed schedule! Can't wait for the shows!

Yea! Liberty is phenomenal.

 

I have to admit that anyone who thinks any ship smaller than the big gals would be disappointing, is really is missing out on, well, a cruise and a great adventure! Every ship in every class has her own charms and offerings. :)
