CruiseNut7 Posted June 5, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 5, 2005 Karen - great info to share with new cruisers. It was nice to use my new passport on my last cruise. I think one of these days everyone will be required to have one ... not just for cruisers, but the airlines, etc.
KruznKel Posted June 5, 2005 #4 Share Posted June 5, 2005 Everyone within the next few years will need one... so getting one is a good idea.. just remember some are valid longer then others.. Canadian passports are good for 5 years while the US passports are good for 10 years.. Enjoy your vacation all!! :)

madelinerose Posted June 9, 2005 Author #9 Share Posted June 9, 2005 For cruises that leave after New Year's Eve of this year or if you are already onboard after 12-31. Apply for your passport now, no need to stress. If you are leaving the US, you will need a passport to get back into the US. Use the link in the first post. It's a very simple procedure. ;) This for cruises booked after 12/31/05 or that leave after 12/31/05????My family and I leave the 15th of January!
