Homewood Suites Blue Lagoon

NorthCarolinaBelle

Recommended Posts

We stayed here one night prior to our Jan 12th cruise and can highly recommend the 2 bedroom suite. There was a kitchen and a large sitting area with a couch, chair, and ottoman, plus a desk. The bedrooms were on either side of the sitting area, and each had its own bathroom. It was a very economical way to travel with another couple, about $250 before taxes. The free hotel shuttle picked us up at the airport, too.

For dinner, we walked to a shopping center close by and ate at a wonderful little Italian restaurant. (Sorry I don't remember the name.) There was also a Publix there where we bought wine and toiletries. The hotel shuttle picked us up and brought us back to the hotel, since it was dark and we were tired. Again, it was a free service, and we just tipped the driver.

The hotel also had a nice breakfast included in the price of the room, which carried us over nicely til we got to the ship's buffet.:)
