Suntanz Posted January 21, 2013 #28 Share Posted January 21, 2013 Never heard of Roatan before we sailed there. Beautiful island, loved it there. Also really like Costa Maya.
marshhawk Posted January 21, 2013 #29 Share Posted January 21, 2013 I'm a beach and water baby-so hands down for being in the water-Half Moon Cay. But if it's super windy, or stormy, you probably wont end up there as it is a tender port. As far as "regular" ports, we loved Cozumel on our second trip down there, because of what we did-day pass at El Cid, withing walking distance of the pier-great snorkeling for that matter I love Nassay-but I have done the Sheritan, Black Beards Cay, and blue Lagoon =Sail Happy
TMWTim Posted January 21, 2013 #30 Share Posted January 21, 2013 For the pure fun-factor - Cozumel For the pure beauty and locals - GC For the pure adventure factor- Jamaica Of the three - Jamaica (judging mainly cruises out of Galveston)

ILUVCRUIZN Posted January 21, 2013 #35 Share Posted January 21, 2013 We loved Roatan for the snorkeling. We also love Grand Turk, St Martin and Grand Cayman. Cannot go wrong with any of them in my opinion... ;)
curious_st Posted February 2, 2013 Author #36 Share Posted February 2, 2013 Thanks to all of you for sharing. I keep looking at the Carnival Dream to Nassau, St Thomas, and St Martin. St Martin sounds so I interesting with both the Dutch and French sides of the island, along with the airplanes at Maho beach. St Thomas sounds beautiful, and St Johns even more so. arkjeweler Posted February 2, 2013 #39 Share Posted February 2, 2013 Cozumel, Coco Cay, St. Thomas along with a bunch of others. We did not enjoy Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, or Puerto Vallarta at all....Sightseeing in Los Angeles pre and post cruise was much more enjoyable.
