Sea Kayak, Turtle Encounter, and Beach

My husband and I are signed up for this excursion offered by Princess on May 4, 2004. The brochure infers that this is a high energy/high activity level excursion.

 

Is that true? My husband and I are in okay shape--but certainly we aren't in tip top shape.

 

Anyone take this? Recommendations? Comments?

We did take the excursion and found with our shoulder problems (my husband has bursitis and I have shoulder issues due to carpal tunnel syndrome)it was a bit challenging--my hands were numb for over a day. The kayaking area is quite near the ship in a fairly industrial area--really wouldn't recommend that part.

 

The snorkeling with the sea turtles was wonderfu. There were 6 to 8 of them around and came quite close to you--even if you didn't want them too!

 

Next trip I would try the sea turtle, shipwreck snorkel that is discussed on this board.
