izzydog Posted January 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2013 We were thinking about going out to dinner since we will be in Curacao until 11. Does anyone have any info on a good restaurant? We like all kinds of food, not realy looking for black tie, but good quality food and atmosphere.
izzydog Posted February 8, 2013 Author #2 Share Posted February 8, 2013 We sailed the western caribbean back in 2010 and I could not believe how much information there was on all the ports and lots of suggestions for a "don't miss" restaurant. Why is it that getting info about southern caribbean ports is like pulling teeth? We will be in Curacao from 2-11 celebrating a birthday and we are looking for a place with good food. We don't want fine dining, just a place that has a great atmosphere and great food.

jim in cleveland Posted March 22, 2013 #9 Share Posted March 22, 2013 My wife and I booked dinner at the Baoase. It's a high end resort and is supposed to have an outstanding restaurant. The tables are set up on the beach. I've read a bunch of good reviews ---- cab ride is $25 each way. Has anyone been there? Thanks! Jim
DolfanNY Posted November 18, 2013 #10 Share Posted November 18, 2013 Sailed on Breeze 11/9/13. Found a great restaurant on the port side of the bridge named O Porto. http://www.oportorestaurant.com. Michael Rodrigues the owner was on sight serving the customers. 15 of us ate and everyone loved the food.
