kcdancerkc Posted January 22, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 22, 2013 We spent $50 each to go to a remote beach in a national park that is in the top 10 world's beaches (Gold Rock Beach at Lucaya national park)--- worth every penny -- we used www.calabashecoadventures.com/cruise.html Eat before you go - the above fee is for the round trip - then $5 each to get into the park -- feed raccoons birds fish - then step out into paradise! Gold Rock Beach -- look it up on google images or tripadvisor.com - it's number 1 attraction and NOT crowds you can go 2-3 hours if you want - guide will take you anywhere on your time schedule. its 45 min each way driving Take beach bags with water bottles, sunscreen towels etc - PRISTINE beach - saw baby starfish - beautiful water MOST important look up yourself - or have them look up the times for low tide that day -- you have to go at low tide or there is no beach! If low tide there is about 2+ miles of gorgeous beach You can also look up Pat and Diane's snorkeling - they go there too
