Summit 4th of July

We were on the Solstice last 4th of July and there were some lovely food sculptures with a holiday theme, ie. watermelon eagles. These were in the Oceanview Cafe. It's pretty low-key because for as much as it's our Independence Day, for many other passengers on the ship, it's not.

bring your own decorations and do your stateroom and door:) up nice.

 

That's a great idea! I also brought a 4th of July t-shirt to wear that day, and red/white/blue jewelry to carry the theme. I was surprised at how homesick I felt being in the middle of the Med on the 4th. Funny.
