We took the shore excursion from RCI. The cave is ok, but if you're expecting something like Carlsbad Caverns, it's not. After the cave our driver took us on a tour of the island on the way to the Andromeda Garden. He stopped at the Beaches on the Eastern side of the island so we could get out for 15-20 mins. Tooks us by Bathseba, etc. The Andromeda Garden was not worth the trip. A lot of the flowers were not in bloom and it really wasn't worth it. We also got back about an hour late from this excursion cutting into the rest of your day.

Next time, I'd skip this, and go to one of the Western Coast beaches instead.

We went to the Boatyard upon returning from this excursion, but it was almost 1:30pm by that time.

We were in Barbados a couple of weeks ago on the Dawn Princess and opted to book with Glory Tours. We stopped at Harrison's Cave and, after spending time at Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico, we were a little disappointed in the cave. The cave is nice with a couple of picture stops along a dark tram ride with a guide that shines a flashlight at formations along the way. We then stopped at Orchid World, which is beautiful if you like orchids (naturally). We visited St. Johns Church, which was pretty, stopped by Bathsheba for photos, and ended the day at the Wildlife Reserve, which was interesting. We were told that if you are there in the late afternoon you have a possibility of seeing some green monkeys, but we were there a little before 4 and they hadn't shown up yet. Whatever you do, you will love Barbados!
