Krazy Kruizers Posted January 24, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2013 Being as you have 2 sea days after you leave San Diego, I would count on it. I know that we have done the complete repositioning cruise from Ft Lauderdale to Seatlle -- in your case -- Vancouver -- and the night after leaving San Diego (where others got on the ship) there was a formal night. startwin Posted January 24, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 24, 2013 Being as you have 2 sea days after you leave San Diego, I would count on it. I know that we have done the complete repositioning cruise from Ft Lauderdale to Seatlle -- in your case -- Vancouver -- and the night after leaving San Diego (where others got on the ship) there was a formal night. Last year they changed that to "formal optional" night, which was a bit of mish-mash, but I gather they will keep it that way.
whyyz Posted January 25, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 25, 2013 This cruise leaves Vancouver BC. Four Days Cruising and then land tour. Your second night on the ship (sea day) will be a true formal night (Zuiderdam - Sunday night, Volendam - Thursday night), followed by stops in Juneau and then your disembarkation in Skagway for your land tour. It will be the first of 2 formal nights for passengers doing the 7 night return to Vancouver cruise (their 2nd formal night is Glacier Bay night), but the only formal night for Vancouver to Skagway passengers.
