stevekazz Posted January 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2013 My travel agent told me that automatic upgrade will only occur within the same category--ie--they move your room only within the same category cabin. Has anyone had an upgrade in category since carnival has been in Australia?

Has anyone had an upgrade in category since carnival has been in Australia? :) Hi We had an automatic upgrade three days before sailing- we were given an outside quad cabin and we were originally in an interior quad cabin. I declined the upgrade as it was on deck 1 ( we were on deck 6) and the location of the upgraded cabin meant we were under the cool lounge/casino area and I didn't want any noise from thses areas. Hope this answers your question.
