We are staying in a Crown Loft and i would like to know

1. does the Concierges contact us before the Cruise?

2. Do they have a specialty restaurant open for Lunch?

3. Will we get Priority reservations for Specialty Restaurants?

4. Do crown loft suites have dvd players?

It's common for concierges to reach out to suite guests before the cruise, but it's not 100%. I know that Giovanni's is open for lunch on embarkation day, not sure about other speciality restaurants. Not sure about your other questions.

Answers

 

1- They will typically email 5-9 days prior to the cruise.

2- There are no free lunches for suite guests. We go to Giovanni's on embarkation day. If I remember it is 15 or 20 pp. It is a great lunch, and a wonderful way of passing time before the rooms are ready. They open at noon.

3- Maybe, we always prebook to guarantee the time we want. The concierge will call the restaurants for guest reservations. I think one time we did over hear a person who did not get the time they wanted, but did get the night they wanted.

4- I don't ever remember seeing a DVD player in any of the suites we have stayed in on Allure or Oasis. That includes the OS, SLS, RS and RLS.

 

I hope this helps you out a bit. Others will chime in too if I missed anything or am wrong in points.

#1 We were in a CL suite in October and received no phone call/email from the concierge

 

Lunch is available every day in the CL but not on embarkation day. Nice lunch items with complimentary wine and beer.

 

In a way you do have priority. The Concierge him or herself will book a time for you. I have done this the day I wanted to go by approaching the concierge in the lounge area.

 

Do not remember seeing a DVD player in the CL suite.
