mullet bay golf course

Has anyone been to mullet bay golf course lately? Not sure it's open .Would love to hear from someone local or someone who has played it .

We don't golf, but we regularly stay at The Towers at Mullet Bay which is located in/near the golf course.

We often walk along the course to get to the commercial area nearby for a morning newspaper and pastries. The course is sometimes brown, if there has been no rain (it's not irrigated), and sometimes rough as not well maintained, but it offers some fantastic views of both the lagoon and the Caribbean.

 

The St. Maarten Golf Association is still scheduling tournaments there, as recently as January 13th.

I know that in the past it has been open to visitors, at least during the week.

 

I have a number for the golf course, itself - 721-545-2801.

 

Remember that's an international call.

I e-mailed the course, but received no response. :(. Maybe someone else has newer information? I think this course is on the French side?
