Cookson Posted January 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2013 Why on most of Costas sailing does it say that they aren't "saleable"? Do you have to call to make a reservation with this cruise company? There's a ton of sailings that are like this. Also a quick question... will English be a language spoken on a asia cruise with them?
AnonymousCruiser69 Posted January 27, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2013 not sure about the 'saleable' question. costa isn't know for their user-friendly website, though. lol. try another online agency or call them. as for english, is will be spoken by the staff - they make all announcements in 5 or 6 languages. passenger demographics vary cruise-to-cruise, but do NOT expect a majority of the pax to speak english. also, your shore excursions are subject to canellation if there are not enough english speakers. ngrow Posted February 21, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2013 It is not the web site, it is the itinerary. We booked MSC Atlantica from Singapore to Shanghai in June 2013. It is 14 days. We spent a lot on air and everything else. Now 3 month away from the sailing, the rumors said the whole itinerary is cancelled. And that is why it is not bookable. I did a lot of research. It is popular for Chinese travel company bought off the whole ship. So whatever the rich people want to go, the others have to follow. We cruised with many cruise lines. This is the only one which will ignore the reputation and ignore customer benefits. I guess after the ship sunk, every other aspects will be minor. Be aware of this company in general
