Me and my parents are looking at going on a cruise. We are looking at carnival Glory, Valor or Royal carribean Navigator of seas. Can we get 1 room for three people, and if we can what type of room would that be? Or could we get two rooms and I have a room by myself. If we did that would we have to pay for two people in my room since it is based on double occupancy? Which would be cheaper?

It's always cheaper to put three in a room. That way, you're only paying the third person fare, which is usually very cheap. If you get your own room, you're going to be paying 200% of the fare as a single supplement.

We took our daughter (17yrs) on our Carnival Miracle cruise last year and we booked a balcony room. There are cabins for 3 or 4 people to a room and the TA will know that you need to book one of these. I think it was only 300.00 for her to travel with us in the room. (What a deal for 6 days!) We had a sofa that made into a bed for her. It worked out well. Have a great trip..
