Atlantis visit on Allure of the Seas

Hello! I see that our stop in Nassau is from 7:00am-2:00pm. I am sure that there must be a good reason for this unfavorable time period (??), but is it possible to make a quality visit to Atlantis? I have seen people's comments that they did this on Allure, but I just can't imagine how. What is the time required to get back and forth from the ship? Thank you!!

Not sure what you are hoping to accomplish in this time period.

Pools don't open until 9am - Slides open at 10am.

You need to be back on board by 1ish.. so you have about 2 1/2 hours at Atlantis.

You can't access the property without a day pass of some sort unless you are just going to gamble. (You will be allowed in the casino, but not access to the main lobbies or grounds.). Security will stop you from just entering and wandering around checking out the place.

Passes for the DIGS aquarium are $40pp (and do not included pools, grounds, beach or slides).

Beach pass is $80pp and includes aquarium but not pools and slides.

To access the pools and slides you'll need a Full access aqauadventure pass, which is currently $135 and available on a limited basis thru Atlantis.

For 2 1/2 hours.. this is certainly not worth the effort or expense in my book.

Independent travel is mainly by van (shuttle) for $4 pp. They wait to fill up before heading out, so this can take a few minutes.

The ride itself is 10-15 minutes during regular hours. During Rush hour it can take 25 - 40 minutes (Rush hour is 7:30am - 9am).
