The only inside cabin N is Much more expensive than all other inside cabins !

Do anyone of you longtime cruisers know why,

and have anyone cruised in one ?

Found it loking at prices for the transatlantic on Ryndam,

and first thought it was a mistake,

but on other s class ships this particular cabin also costs around 2500 €

Just wonder why ??

I think they generally hold that cabin category for their 'flash' sales that are closer to the cruise dates. You could book an N category and if prices drop before final payment date ask for them to 'refare' your booking. Just noticed that you might be booking from UK or Europe, so I'm not sure what their rules are regarding price drops. Then you might just want to wait for the sales.

there is probably only 1 ''N" cabin because they only use it for 'flash' sales in the 'guarantee' category -- they know they will sell out the "n's", but it gives them a way to fill the odd singlet(one or two cabins) in other categories as a means to fill the ship.

The excessive price before the sale is to hopefully prevent someone from booking it. Since you are 'across the pond' I would be very careful trying to book at the higher price and trying to get the price drop with a refare, since your travel agency laws are much more specific than the lack of them in the US.
