NCL Casino Question

Occasionally we will visit the casino (not big gamblers) but noticed something on our recent Jewel cruise that I had not seen before. I never got a chance to ask but maybe someone knows the answer.

Like many casinos, NCL was using automatic card shufflers. On many of their blackjack tables they were reinserting the cards into the machine after each hand was completed meaning if you were playing one and one with the dealer and 6 cars were used, he would insert them into the machine after collecting losses or paying winners.

The question I have, are those reinserted cards immediately available for distribution for the next hand (randomly of course) and how many decks of cards are in those machines?

Thanks to all you gamblers in advance.
