More-merrier confusion. Help!!!!!!

The more- merrier rate is confusing. There is a checkmark where it says i get to chose my room, but when i do a mock booking, it says carnival will chose for you. I'm wondering if i can get obc with my early saver rate, but i do not want to surrender my room and go in the guaranteed pool.

I have been able to price match the more=merrier rate and keep my room

I asked my TA about More=Merrier today and she was able to hold a specific cabin for me under the rate.

I've priced matched over 5 times in the last month to MTM and have always kept my room.

I had a similar problem with the casino rate - when you get to the part where it says "carnival will pick your cabin" - look to the right and up in the 'box' you are in - it should say something like select your own cabin, or go back to cabin selection (something like that anyway). Click on that and it shows you the available cabins - or at least it did for me with the casino rate.

Went back and checked - I was hoping for a picture- but maybe the verbage will help - the 'go back' part is in a blue box on the left of the box. - I hope that helps.

Thanks, it worked! I was able to pick a stateroom with that method. I took a screenshot and sent everything to my TA. There aren't any cove balconies available, so it's hard to figure out the price difference, so we' ll see how it turns out.

 

Just so i make sure i understand correctly, i had initially booked an interior lido room under early saver, than this week i upgraded myself to a cove balcony under the past guest fare, if i understand correctly, i'm still early sAver right, since once early saver, always early saver?
