Bottom Fishing in Freeport questions

My husband really wants to book the Bottom Fishing excursion in Freeport. Our ship arrives at 9am and the excursion is only offered at 9:15 am. If we book it through Carnival, will we have to worry about him being on time? How far from where we dock is the fishing boat? Thanks in advance for your help.
