Need help with NOLA transportation

Hello all-

 

My family is considering a Carnival Cruise in January. I'm trying to find a company that can handle our transportation needs (Airport to hotel, hotel to port, port to airport).

 

There are 6 of us, 3 adults, 3 kids (10,2,2). Because of all the luggage and the two strollers we we bringing for the twins, I think arranging private transportation is the best call. But, I am open to alternatives.

 

Your help and suggestions is greatly appreciated.

You could contact your hotel to see if the shuttle they have can accomodate your needs (small bus), as well as what shuttle services they offer. Otherwise I would suggest checking with a limo service and possibly splitting up into two cabs (or hire a van taxi for all to ride in and another for your luggage.).

I just returned from a land trip to New Orleans this past September. I used "Go Shuttles" to get to and from the airport. We had a wonderful narrated tour as they dropped off guests at the various hotels. That was a Bonus since we were the last ones off.

 

On the other hand, I later found out that a taxi for two would have been about the same price and more direct.

 

I also found out that New Orleans has a little known "policy". Flat rate from hotel to hotel. I would find out more about this from your hotel. I would think the port would be included too.

 

You will love this city. So charming with so much to do.
