Cunard and the Classic Queens

Mr. Shanks,

Cunard makes a great effort to emphasize its history, and justifiably so, but it doesn't seem like there's much of a direct connection between the line and the former Queens (the Queen Mary and the Queen Elizabeth 2). Does the line have any plans to hold any future port events similar to the "meeting" of the QM and QM2 in Long Beach a few years ago, or to encourage & support the preservation efforts of the former Cunard Queens?

Yes - Queen Elizabeth is meeting Queen Mary in Long Beach on the 12th March to pay her respects. I wrote a blog about my own visit to Queen Mary last year. Peter
