I know this question really doesn't go here, but I'm puttin' it here anyway! :) Does anyone know where I can find a list of ship's godmothers, i.e. the women who swung the bottle of champagne against the side? Specifically, I'm interested in cruise ships and ocean liners. I've tried various search search words on the net but to no avail.

Exactly which ships? It might take a little more research but all the answers are readily accesible on the internet. Check out http://www.ocean-liners.com/ for the history of many ocean liners.
