Kaitlyn2 Posted February 7, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2013 Has anyone been on The Diamond when it was in Hong Kong overnight? I'm wondering how late on the first night we can get back to the ship? Thanks, Karen
Rare Kinkacruiser Posted February 8, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 8, 2013 Hi Karen, As this is a tender port it will be dependant on the tenders timetable...unsure what that will be.

Also, when is this cruise as there are 1 of 3 possibilities where the ship might be? It could be tendering or berthed at the container port or berthed at the new cruise terminal at the old Kai Tak airport. If after June 2013, then you will be at the new cruise terminal. Don't know if they added the subway extensions to the new cruise terminal so transportation options are indeterminate. As for how late, I don't know and I'm not sure anyone does with any certainty until the terminal opens.
movc Posted February 9, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 9, 2013 Without knowing where you will be docked, you can assume that any shuttle or tender will run all night though at reduced frequency, maybe once an hour or longer. It is common for ships to change berths on two day stays.
