Have any of you done an excursion after debarking at the end of the cruise, that entertains you for several hours and then drops you at the airport? Some of our group have late afternoon flights and am looking for alternatives to them sitting around the airport ALL day!

Thanks!

We havedone several in Miami and Ft Lauderdale usually Everglades which is much better than sitting in airport.

We just booked a tour with airport drop off in Vancover for our April cruise.

We did the Everglades through Carnival.

Unfortunately, it wasn't the best excursion. I don't know whether it's because it was really cold (40s), windy, and sprinkling and we only saw two little alligators and we only spent about a half hour out on the airboats or if that is the typical way that tour runs. It was quite expensive for the actual time we spent on the airboats.

IF it had been a nice day, and on the water longer, it would have been GREAT. I don't even care if we saw more alligators, it would have just been fun to enjoy it and last longer. I don't mind spending money on excursions, but a half hour on the airboat was pretty short.

It did do what we intended it to do.....our flight wasn't until 6:00.....so it killed some time and got us to the airport. We brought our luggage right to the bus that was waiting outside the terminal. Men loaded the luggage in the luggage compartments and off we went. The luggage was stored and locked in the bus during our excursion. After the excursion, the same bus took us to the airport and stopped at different airline terminals depending on who flew what airline.
