Southern Caribbean Shore Excursions

We will be going on the Golden 12/17/05 and I was wondering about good shore excursions and where people booked them through. We will be going to St. Thomas, St Kitts, Grenada, Aruba, and Isle Margarita. We don't scuba, but we like to snorkel and enjoy excitement.

 

Last year in Aruba we went on the off road Jeep tour through ABC tours and found it awesome.

Honestly we never had anything pre-planned. Get off the ship and plenty of offers will come your way. We love to do a general taxi tour in the morning of the city and country, eat a quick lunch on the ship, then find a beach in the afternoon to snorkel. The southern caribbean is an excellent itinerary, enjoy.

We visited Isla Margarita and St. Thomas on a cruise in April. We did the La Restinga Lagoon excursion on Isla M. and went to Magen's Bay Beach in St. Thomas. Magen's Bay was great. The Lagoon tour is for eco fans and is kind of funky in an adventurous way- but a bit primitive.

 

Many passengers went to the little beach near the port of Guamache on Isla M. and liked it. There are also vendors nearby who sell all kinds of Venezuelan items. We also heard good music at the vendor site.
