Haines from Skagway

looking to take a Haines Wilderness River tour thru ship's excursion. Anyone done this and if so how was it? We would be going third week of July. TIA

Read your descriptions carefully. the raft trips are superior in my opinion. The jet boats are very noisy. Despite descriptions, don't expect to view wildlife, and your eagle viewing won't be more than anywhere else on the inside passage- IF you make the effort to look. :)

 

The ferry between the two is scenic with an occasional whale sighting, sometimes mountain goats. Haines is a quirky little town.
