BlueJai Posted February 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2013 We are boarding the Sky next week and have a question regarding room service. In the past we have always taken a small one cup coffee maker on our criuses. Last year on the Sun, we left it at home and just ordered room service coffee each morning which worked out perfectly. Does the Sky offer room service on the day after embarkation? We are doing the 4 day Sky cruise and then a few days later doing the Sun 11 day. I know I can do room service on the Sun, but am wondering about the Sky. Thanks for any info. Bluejai
bakerintn Posted February 13, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2013 Should not be a problem. Basically same on all the ships.

jdvmd Posted February 13, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 13, 2013 Room service is available. If you order it from midnight to 5:30 a.m., there is a delivery charge. A 4-cup coffee maker will also be in your stateroom with coffee and supplies.
kylenyc Posted February 13, 2013 #5 Share Posted February 13, 2013 I had an inside cabin with neither coffee maker nor fridge. Someone mentioned even on newer ships coffee makers are only in balcony cabins and higher?
jdvmd Posted February 13, 2013 #6 Share Posted February 13, 2013 The Spirit and the studio cabins on the Epic do not have refrigerators. Have had both on all of my NCL cruises whether in an inside, ocean view or balcony. That includes the Sky.
spacepotatoes Posted February 13, 2013 #7 Share Posted February 13, 2013 I had an inside cabin with neither coffee maker nor fridge. Someone mentioned even on newer ships coffee makers are only in balcony cabins and higher? This was my understanding as well. I have read on CC that you may be able to request one from the cabin steward but that they can't (or won't?) always provide it.
shelly11 Posted February 13, 2013 #8 Share Posted February 13, 2013 I think the Sky had a coffee maker in the inside room my kids had. Yes room service will bring it as well. I never ordered it but did get breakfast once and it was great!
