Cheers Program question (but probably a different one from all the others)

I was wondering about the last night of the cruise. :confused: Do you still get a full day (6am to 6am) to have your 15 drinks? I'm thinking that they'd have to close the accounts early that night because they have to finalize them, print them out and deliver them to all the cabins. Is the final day shortened (even by just an hour or 2), does anybody know? Just curious.

My husband and I purchased (and loved!) the Cheers program. We had our last glasses of wine around 9pm. Our S&S Account Summary was delivered to our room with a time stamp around 1am. I know this isn't definitive, but I hope this helps a bit. :)

The bars don't close any early. Charges after the S&S account has been printed are just added to your account. That's why some people will express concern that their statement didn't match what was ultimately charged to their credit card.

 

I usually have my last drink around 11pm. I also, have a talk with my cabin steward about anything I've used from the refrigerator so there is no confusion about additional charges after I've left the ship.

I did the Cheers program back in Sept on the Victory. They do not close your account. I was able to get drinks while waiting to get off the ship on disembark day.

Here's a big question then, my embarks sunday, and disembarks on saturday at 8am... Where you charged for your day of disembarkment? IE would I be charged 6 or 7 days.

Thanks guys and girls!! :D I was just curious. It doesn't matter for me anyway (yet). The next Carnival ship I'm sailing on doesn't have the Cheers Program. :(

Really? :confused: You mean pop (soda) and/or alcoholic drinks (or smoothies, non alcoholic cocktails, etc) or the free drinks available on Lido? I've never heard of that before. I would have thought that wouldn't be allowed for sure (and I would also have thought the bars would be closed that morning until they start embarking the passengers for the next cruise meaning all the people are off from the previous cruise). No extra charge for disembarkment day. So if you buy it the 1st day and you cruise is a 6 day cruise you will be charged for 6 days.

I was waiting to disembark at the casino bar, the bartender was starting to set up the bar for the next cruise. So drinks where limited but I was able to get my rum and coke :D. She told me I could get anything that was "simple" while she set up.
