CruiseJunkie66 Posted February 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2013 We will be sailing on the Splendor in May out of New York and this is my first cruise with Platinum status. The ship arrives in port at 8:00 am. We do not want to do self-assist. Does anyone know the order of debarkation? Is platinum called before or after the self-assist passengers? And approximately at what time?
SadieN Posted February 13, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2013 Usually the order is-- Platinum/Priority self assist Platinum/Priority Self assist Numbers called There will be a letter on your bed the day before with your luggage tags and meeting/debark times. nybumpkin Posted February 13, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 13, 2013 When we sailed on Glory last year, we were off the ship by 8:40 a.m., having arrived at the pier before 7 a.m. Self-assist does go first, then those who left luggage outside their cabins the night before. Kudos2Fly Posted February 14, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2013 We just started using Platinum benefits also. This was in Port Canvernal and only for a 3 day cruise. We did self assets this time and was off first. But the "relaxed" group was off about 30-45 minutes later. Either group Platinum and Diamond get off first. gusandgidgetsmom Posted February 14, 2013 #5 Share Posted February 14, 2013 When we debarked the Fascination they took all Platinum guests down together right after self-assist. I really don't remember doing it this way before so I thought it was something new. I always thought we just got tag 1 tickets and were called first. Kudos2Fly Posted February 14, 2013 #7 Share Posted February 14, 2013 Yea on our last cruise that's what happen was self-assist along with Platinum. But on this cruise at least on Sensation Platinum/Diamond was off first before they even started calling standard self-assist people.
