Medications for the Eastern Carribean

I am from Queensland, Australia and was wondering if I need worry about HepA & Typhoid injections before I come to cruise to Nassau, St. Thomas & St. Maarten. Thanks for any advice which you can give me. Judy

We've been to all three islands, and did not have to have injections. Best place to look is the CDC (Center for Disease Control) which maintains a listing of potential issues.

 

We cancelled one cruise which included a more Southerly island (Devil's Island?) which required a shot we could not take. Otherwise we have cruised to most of the major islands in the Caribbean without impediment.

For me, I have a travel clinic that I have access to....I am from the US and I didn't need any immunizations.

Forgot to mention, my travel clinic MD did recommend Hep A prior to going inland to Mexico and Costa Rica...
