ricardin Posted February 14, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2013 Hi all Could anyone who has been on the Oasis Eastern Caribbean cruise give advice on the best excursions for Nassau? Given the fact that departure from Nassau is 2pm, it leaves very little time to actually do anything. thanks in advance Ricky
Rare BillOh Posted February 14, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2013 Your right, the 2pm departure is a real pain. Perhaps that is why 75% of the listed excursions on RC's website has something to do with Atlantis. Perhaps I'm the only person in the world not interested in going there. This time we are doing a private segway excursion.
Rick-n-Lisa Posted February 14, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2013 Hi Ricky! Have you checked the ports of call board for Nassau? That's where I always find the best port and excursion info. There is a a whole thread dedicated to each port. Since it is a short day and time is limited you can also check out the excursions Royal offers as the boat won't leave without you if you are on one of their excursions. You may already know all this..:) The last 2 times we were in Nassau we just went to Potters Cay which is close to the ship dock. They have a bunch of shacks where they make fresh conch salad and conch fritters and sell drinks. It's where the locals hang out and we had a great time the first time so we went back again. If you go make sure to go to Simply Da Best. Shawn is the owner and he is great! Hope you have a great time!
