Has anyone heard when they will adding FTTF to the rest of the ships?

I was able to call Carnival and they told me the date our ship was goinf live with FTTF. I checked excursions a week earlier than the date and it was up. So give them a call.

Fttf?

"Faster to the Fun" - http://www.carnival.com/Funville/blogs/faqs/archive/2012/10/09/what-is-the-quot-faster-to-the-fun-quot-program-fttf.aspx

Includes:

Priority Security, Check-in and Express Boarding

Bypass lines and have exclusive security screening lanes. If you arrive after general boarding has begun, you may bypass the general boarding line and board via the Faster to the Fun lane. The quicker you are on the ship, the quicker you get to hold a frosty drink.

First Access to Stateroom

Your stateroom will be ready for you as soon as you board so you can relax or freshen up for all the fun you are about to have.

Express Luggage

Your luggage will be expedited to your stateroom so you can unpack and don your cruise attire first!

Guest Services

Quickly have any of your questions answered or requests addressed as you will have a dedicated phone and line at Guest Services.

Dining Reservations

Priority Main Dining Room and Specialty Restaurant reservations

Tender Priority

You will have priority tender from ship to shore (multiple departure times may be possible) so you can explore ashore as quickly as you want to.

Debarkation Choices

We are always sad to see you go. But when your cruise is over, you may choose an early or late disembarkation time upon arrival to your homeport.

It means you pay Carnival to break in line in front of of the other guests.

Seriously? When was the last time you went to an amusement park or flew on an airline or went on a cruise and there wasn't some option for people to get into a special line? It's not like they are just handing it out to pretty people or friends of employees or something. People pay for this service. If you want it so bad, buy it!

Oh get off your high horse,

What about suite people, who paid more for their room and got better room then yours?

Lesson is want more? Pay more, that's how business and the world works.

Another person room is irrelevant to me. I does not change my experience if they have a better (or worse) room. No impact on me. Breaking in line infront of me causes me delay. Thats how it works. Can you understand this?

Its WRONG wherever its done. If Carnival or any other place provides an upgraded service like a better room, thats fine, because it does not impact me. Breaking in line inn front of me IS wrong, and I resented Fiesta Texas for their linebreaking, too. Incidentally linebreaking CAN get you thrown out of amusement parks, go figure!

Problem is, is that people are unwilling to see the difference and acknowledge the truth of it.

You must have this line saved in a word doc since you post it every single time someone asks something about fttf. We get it- you don't like it. Unfortunately you do not make the rules, Carnival does. And Carnival is selling this as an option to their guests-therefore it is not wrong. Get over it already please

Well actually I keep getting told that this is not the case. That priority dining just means you are higher on the waitlist if you cannot get your chosen dining.

However, if Fttf is ever offered on my cruise date and is available. I hope this thread is correct and that is what it means.

You know if you are bothered by this, you can purchase it, if it is available for you and then you don't have to worry about anyone "breaking in line" in front of you. Problem solved.

We think it is a waste of money. We get to the cruise terminal early, get in group one and am on the ship a few minutes behind those that paid to get on early. We then (I know I'm going to get flamed for this one! I have my fire suit on!) go to our state room, tip the steward and drop our stuff off on the bed that is already made with the pad sitting on it. We then head to the lido deck and eat before it gets busy. When we tender we have never had a problem getting on the first boat to shore. We get up early and get a high tender number. In fact this last cruise on the Freedom they didn't hand out numbers and we still got on the first boat. When we disembark we always wait as long as possible to leave the ship. We don't want the experience to end! So for us to spend the extra money it isn't worth it. To each his own.

Yeah, you don't get to cut in line each night in the dining room.

(at least on the Dream)

It just means your higher on the CHOICE of dining options.

(probably right behind Platinum, just like during embarkation)

So if you got stuck with early or late and wanted ATD, then you'd be higher priority to switch if enough ATD folks drop out and vice a versa.

Saw one confused guy on our Dream cruise, assume the first night that he got to cut in line.

The hostesses had him physically escorted to the back of the 150-200 people line at 5:30.

Enjoy the perks...

Bill

fttf will give'you prioty reservations so if esrly is waitlisted and you want in- you will get in.

taking anytime. you will get any time dining as your choice but you still will wait in the line to be seated.

in the begining when the program first started people who got the program went to the head of the line and the workers thought that was the way its done.

thats has all been fixed now.

only 30 cabins max can buy into the program- depending if there is a lotmof platinum diamond members.

only 15 cabins are released at a time

All the OP asked is when FTTF will be available, not opinions on it!

I would like to know also.

Answers, not opinions, please.......

sadly-the answer to this is who knows. Carnival has not posted when it will be available on the ships without it. I follow John Heald on FB and he usually posts it when it opens up.

The only way to know really if its available for your ship is to go under excursions and select your departure port and date (if this option is available) and it would show FTTF either as available or sold out
