Pricing cycles?

Anyone have any insight into typical or usual pricing cycles of Carnival - when are the prices usually the highest? when are they lowest? do they take a drop a few weeks before sail? We're eyeing a cruise that is only about 75 days out - buy this minute? Any experienced and sharp cruise bargain hunters out there, I'd appreciate the advice. Thank you!

I've always wondered the same thing. I never seem to be able to plan ahead, so usually book a few months before we sail. Sorry I don't know much about the pricing, but maybe some of the more seasoned cruisers would know.

I've seen cruises jump 60-75 days out and I've seen prices fall in the same time frame. There are too many variables to consider, but isn't 75 days away spring break time? If so, I would book now.
